Herold White

Post by James A Temple »

Herold White went home to be with The Lord early afternoon November 1st 2025. Originally from Live Oak, Florida he started his Musical career in Tampa, Florida. He was best known as " The Herold White Show " (and the Country Masters). He traveled all over the west in the 70's playing venues from Small Clubs, Air Force Bases, all the way to the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas. Country was his genre and he had several records of which one charted. In the early days his Pedal Steel Guitarist was a player named " Charlie Brown " of which some of you fellow Steelers may remember.
In the later years Jerry Guy ( Live Oak, Florida )teamed up with Herold and played Guitar and Pedal Steel in and around the Tampa Bay area and on the Road. He had many Friends in the Music Business and performed with the likes of Charlie Pride and Waylon Jennings.
If you have pictures or memories please share them here. Please keep his Family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank You

There was a singer/night club owner that used to reside in Quad Cities Iowa. The same name. He had two night clubs and house band for several years. He also hosted his own television show. This would have been late 60's into the 70's. Is this the same Herold White?
