Day vs. Emmons

Post by Buck Dilly »

Forgive my ignorance. I have always used the Emmons type pedal arrangement. Although I understand the differences, I don't know the advantages or disadvantages? And why have people selected the Day arrangement, as it seems to be less common. Just curious.

Buck, Have a look at this previous thread... http://steelguitarforum.com/Forum15/HTML/001248.html
You can also do a search on the forum for this topic as it's been discussed quite a few times.

I think the Emmons set up is real close to being the standard. That makes a differance when you want to sell it.
