R.I.P. Gerry Marsden

Post by Rich Upright »

Gerry Marsden, Lead guitar & singer for "Gerry & The Pacemakers", died today from a heart infection. He was 78.
The Pacemakers were one of the founders of the British Invasion movement of the 60s, and had several hits, such as "How Do You Do It","Ferry Across the Mersey","Don't Let the Sun Catch You Crying",and "I Like It". He will be missed.
A couple D-10s,some vintage guitars & amps, & lotsa junk in the gig bag.

Sad news.
Growing up in England at that time, Gerry and the Pacemakers were a big part of my introduction to pop music.
Rest easy Gerry.
