Robert (Bob) Lawrence passed away

Post by Quentin Hickey »

Hello everyone, unfortunately, Robert (or Bob as we know him) passed away suddenly in his home recently. Bob was innovative and loved to combine his love of technology with this instrunment we all love. Regrettedly, Bob and I have not kept in touch the last several years. I was in a state of shock to learn of his passing as such a young age.

Rest in Peace bob.

Sad to hear. I've known Bob through the forum and facebook. He helped me with a schematic when my MatchBro died.
Bob's father has been to a couple of our old Florida Steel Guitar jams.

So sorry to hear, I met Bob in St. Louis years ago. He was interested in my Franklin so I invited him to my room so he could check it out. Very nice man, RIP.

I just learned of Bob's passing yesterday and am still in total shock. He helped me remotely with my computer several years ago and was amazing. A more avid steel guitar fan you will never find. My condolences to Fred his father and the
entire family. RIP Bob.

Bob's mom and dad live just around the corner from me. I've known them for years through bluegrass and pedal steel. I never met Bob but it's sad to lose another steeler. RIP.
