I just picked up an older session 400 and looks like the reverb was removed at some point. Does anyone know if the reverb in this was the same as the session limited? I have an old limited I could take the spring board from if that’s an option or would it be better to just buy a new one….or just use a pedal
Also any other suggestions on restoring this amp would be welcomed

Most Peavey products use the Accutronics 4EB2C1B, including their PA heads

Re: Session 400 reverb
My Session 400 Reverb tank is currently on the shelf - the only number I see stamped on it is on the side by the input jack: 23572-0. (It is Accutronics, by the way).
There is also an ink-stamped number on the long outer edge: 25 77 038. I suspect this references the year it was made as it comes from a ‘77 Session 400.
I don’t use mine as I don’t like Peavey reverb and use a pedal instead with this amp. I’d be willing to sell the tank if interested.
